About Tyndall Galleries

With a focus on contemporary art from North Carolina and the Southeast, Tyndall Galleries represents exceptional rising young talent and established artists accomplished in painting, sculpture, photography, fiber and ceramics. The gallery has recently relocated to University Mall in Chapel Hill after 12 years at Durham's Brightleaf Square.

In a 2003 readership poll conducted by the Chapel Hill Herald for "The Best of Orange County", Tyndall Galleries placed second to the Ackland Art Museum as The Best Place to View Art. The gallery was also voted Best Gallery in the Triangle by Citysearch.
